What's behind our name?The Fibonacci sequence is all about structure and precise order, However, this can be the basis of beautiful things. We experience it all around us in nature. We all get to enjoy and observe the way a plant grows new leaves, stems and petals.
We can see this everywhere, in the curves of a sea shell, human DNA strands, patterns and even in bending rivers, it touches every part of our lives. The Nautilus spiral, as noted in our logo, is hailed as being a perfect Fibonacci spiral, reflecting the growth in the relationship between the sequence of numbers, sometimes also called a Golden Spiral. The Golden Ratio is often presented with an air of mysticism as "the perfect proportion". As designers, we work with constraints, to a certain degree, but as with the Fibonacci, within these constraints we can create beautiful and effective designs - tailored to you, for you and your market, creating your own "Golden Ratio" that encompasses the very essence of your business. |
